Happy Monday! It’s time to weigh-in for the 2020 Keto Challenge and log your starting weight. 🙂
If you’re in our private Facebook group, the official weigh-in post is here. If you aren’t on Facebook (or prefer not to post on Facebook), simply leave a comment on this post with your starting weight instead.
Over the next 90 days I am going to help you, motivate you and CHALLENGE you in ways that make it fun and easy to lose weight!
1. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning.
First thing in the morning right after you pee is your TRUE weight. Your weight fluctuates 5 pounds or more throughout a single day, so only weigh yourself first thing in the morning. Post/Log your starting weight on this post or in the official weigh-in thread.
2. Set up MyFitnessPal and record your weight there, and also log everything you eat or drink each day.
3. Also take your body measurements and record those in MyFitnessPal as well.
Sometimes you’ll lose more inches than pounds, and it’s another great way to track your progress!
4. Take a “before photo” today, for your own personal use. You’ll regret not having pictures to compare!
Sometimes the scales may not move much, but comparison photos show you the REAL results.

The challenge is to eat 20 net carbs max per day for five days in a row, starting today.
That’s easy enough to start, yes? 🙂
If you need low carb food ideas, I used this Low Carb Food List when I first started. It’s from the Atkins Phase One (now called Atkins20) program, and is a great list of keto-friendly low carb foods that will give you tons of ideas to work with.
