2020 Keto Challenge Details
The timing is perfect to trim down & FEEL amazing by spring! 🌼
Dates: January 3rd through April 4th 2020
The 2020 Q1 Keto Challenge will run from Friday January 3rd through Saturday April 4th, with the starting weigh-in on Monday January 6th and the final weigh-in on Monday April 6th.
We’ll have our weekly weigh-in every Monday, and lots of fun mini-challenges to keep it FUN as we work on our goals together!
Why 90 Days?
It’s a short enough period that anyone can easily commit to it, just 12 weeks, but long enough to see REAL results.
Not just weight loss, but also in your overall health – and more importantly: changing your habits and mindset in so many positive ways!
I shared more about that in ^ that post. Specifically: my personal story, and WHY the 90 day period made a HUGE difference in my own health & weight loss journey!

Over the next 13 weeks I am going to help you, motivate you and CHALLENGE you in ways that make it fun and easy to lose weight!

We have a weekly weigh-in thread in our private Facebook group, but if you’re not on Facebook you can weigh in on the weekly posts on my blog instead.
The weekly weigh-in IS optional, but it’s GREAT for accountability.
If you prefer to keep your progress private, simply log your weight every Monday in your MyFitnessPal app, or whichever app/method you prefer to track your progress.
The challenge: To eat VERY low carb for 90 straight days
That means: 20 net carbs per day max, and 70% fat minimum (ie: keto!).
A ketogenic low carb diet has TONS of health benefits, and of course weight loss is one of the wonderful results of getting healthier.
So many of us have experienced WAY more benefits too!

2020 Keto Challenge To-Do List
1. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning.
This is the ONLY true weigh-in, as your weight fluctuates 5 pounds or more throughout a single day. Post/Log your starting weight on Monday January 6th, and each Monday throughout the challenge.
2. Set up MyFitnessPal and record your weight there, and also log your daily meals.
This is how I have MyFitnessPal Set Up To Track Net Carbs.
That only works online, not on mobile/tablet.
3. Take body measurements as well, and record those in MyFitnessPal too.
Sometimes you’ll lose more inches than pounds, and it’s another great way to track your progress!
4. I highly recommend you take a “before photo” today. You’ll regret not having pictures to compare! Sometimes the scales may not show much loss, but comparison photos tell a different story. 🙂
5. Read the links above. Educate yourself on how the Low Carb Diet (and this challenge) works!
