I don’t have anything exciting to share with you today. 😛 I still weigh 148.6 pounds. I didn’t eat anything interesting yesterday. Well there was one thing, but it’s truly not all that interesting…
I’m totally wiped out this weekend after such a crazy busy week. My body is feeling it too! I’m a little puffy and stiff, so just taking it easy this weekend.
To give you a quick recap: I walked on Tuesday, hiked on Wednesday, did the carnival on Thursday, danced at a concert on Friday – and all four days I pushed those things to the MAX lol.
I racked up some serious steps on my Fitbit this week. 🙂 🙂
Here is my Low Carb Food Diary for Day 34 of the “Get Lean For Summer!” 90 Day Low Carb Challenge. It’s not too late to join us if you haven’t already!
Day 34: Saturday’s Low Carb Meals
I had my favorite low carb breakfast: 1/2 cup pecan pieces, 1/4 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese and 4 small diced strawberries = 5 net carbs and 85% healthy fats.
For lunch I just heated up two Oscar Mayer zero carb smokies and dipped them in mustard. With “something green” of course. 😛 🙄 lol…
I got busy later in the evening so I just had two more of those for dinner. At that point though… I didn’t feel so great. The two more smokies didn’t settle so well. I sort of felt like I had indigestion, like I needed to burp but couldn’t or something. And a little nauseous at one point. Who knows why, probably rushed eating or something.
Anyway, I ate a (plain) dinner roll later that evening – because it was sitting on the counter at a friend’s house, and because it seemed like it might settle my stomach.
My advice: Just log it and keep on trucking. 😛
After that all sorts of thoughts ran through my head. Like: “I might as well have a mocha frappe and french fries now.” (lol) I did not. I had 1/4 cup of pecan halves for a snack later and just went to bed.
Here’s My MyFitnessPal Diary for Saturday:
Calories: 1474
Net Carbs: 26
Total Carbs: 37
Protein: 43 Grams
81% Fat, 12% Protein
Exercise: None (rest day)
FitBit Steps: 3,686
Water: 32 ounces
My son is in for the weekend with his girlfriend, plus both of their dogs 🙂 so I have a full house. Slim is excited to have 4-legged friends to play with! It should make for a great day, along with our amazing weather here in Tennessee.
My daughter took a new job recently and has to work today (she’s an 8 hour round trip away) so we’re going to get together on her free day this week.
I still have in mind the off-plan meal I’d like to enjoy at some point, but I still haven’t worked up any real desire for it. If I remember right, that meal will still keep me under 100 carbs for the day – though it does always knock me out of ketosis.
I feel like I’m not in ketosis anymore anyway. I’m not sure why, but I definitely don’t feel “keto lean” right now. So maybe I should go for it and do a total reset. Hmm. I’ll think on that!
How’s your weekend going?
Happy Mother’s Day to you & your family! 🙂
Best,

I’m looking for the best tasting, least bitter, liquid sweetener with no carbs, no calories. I have even heard of some with fiber. Names? Sites? Costs?
Thanks! LOVE your site. One of the most helpful out here!

Thank you, Sara! π I’ve heard Liquid Stevia is the best. You can get the details and read the reviews here: http://amzn.to/1ZWEMAg Is it for your coffee, for recipes, or what exactly?
I like the Torani sugar free syrups. They come in lots of flavors! See: http://www.netrition.com/cgi/goto.cgi?pid=204-0006&aid=3558
