September 21st is World Gratitude Day, so I thought it was a perfect time to share the things I am most grateful for since switching to a Low Carb diet. 😀
7 Things I LOVE About Eating Low Carb!
1. Bacon. (enough said?)
2. THE WEIGHT I’VE LOST !!!
3. How easy it is to eat Low Carb, even if you don’t cook. 🙂
4. It’s a way of eating I can stick to long-term, not a fad diet, or a short term diet you can’t sustain.
5. The way I feel. A big point for me is less back pain – due to less inflammation (carbs promote inflammation and aggravate things like arthritis). I’m no longer suffering, and feel fabulous!
6. Looking awesome in my jeans again. 😉
7. The fact that you can eat low carb ANYwhere – restaurants, events, camping, traveling, fast food, etc. No counting, calculating or hassle. Just tons of options and delicious food choices.
Also – I’ve met some of the coolest people all of the world through my blog (and via social media). I’ve made new friends, learned a lot, found some amazing Low Carb recipes, and had an absolute blast at it all!
Those are mine. What are YOU most grateful for today, on World Gratitude Day, or what’s your FAVORITE thing about eating Low Carb? Leave a reply below. 😀 *cheers*
Hi Lynn, I lost 70lbs two years ago on a low carb lifestyle but recently slipped back into bad meals and snacks. I’ve gained about 30lbs back in less than a year and it’s time to get back to eating right. The weight loss eliminated my blood pressure meds, daily headaches and and enlarged liver. All three of those have reintroduced themselves with the 30 so it’s time to get a handle on things. The great thing is, I know it’s possible without starving to death. I’m glad you still have this resource for us; I’m subscribing to your list. π
Wow, 70 pounds, Congrats Brian! I’m glad to see you back at it – and you know now that it works, and how to get that 30 back off easily. π *cheers*
I LOVEEEE that I can eat as much salmon and grass-fed beef as I want!! BAH AHA! It’s so true. I can literally sit down to 5 to 10 pounds of salmon or beef, and eat it all π NO blinking. lol
I’m so with you on that one GiGi π lol
Thank you for such clear and helpful information. I belief I can now lose this weight I’ve allowed to pile on.

Thank you for posting such an honest transformation story! I can relate to it all! I’ve just recently starting my Low Carb Journey…..again! How crazy it is that I forget the “freedom” of living Low Carb! I’ve had amazing success in the past but for whatever reasons went back to eating the junk. Thank you again for your candid post and I will be checking in with my success milestones and celebrating with everyone else here!
Awesome, Patricia! I’m with you – it’s GREAT to be back “on” and feeling so good!! *cheers*
