My favorite low carb fast food is a Hardee’s Thickburger.
I think they have a “low carb burger” on the menu, but I usually just order the burger I want and then ditch the bun. Actually, I give it to my Great Dane Slim – he loves them. 😉
Sometimes I order a bacon cheese thickburger, or if I’m really hungry I’ll order a 2/3 pound Monster Bacon & Cheese Thickburger (yum!).
I usually get mayo, dill pickles and extra lettuce. I remove the buns and use the lettuce to pick it up, or just grab a fork and enjoy!
On occasion (and not very often) I might splurge and have half an order of their beer battered onion rings. I have no desire for french fries anymore – potatoes are completely off my menu. A full order of onion rings is approximately 42 net carbs:

I would eat a half order at most, or just a few to go along with the my thickburger. But like I said, this is an exception – a special treat – certainly not my usual. And if I do splurge like this, I “eat clean” the rest of the day (clean meaning “zero carb foods”).
My personal limit is 20 net carbs a day, so a splurge for me might not be the same for you depending on your own carb limit. If you’re just starting out, or working on the low end like I am, it’s best to stick with burgers and sandwiches (without buns or ketchup)…
Stick with that and you can enjoy as much low carb fast food as you like!
