It’s day five of the 5-day mini challenge if you started with us on Monday. Whatever day you’re on is fine of course, or you can start today if you haven’t already! But I wanted to check in and share some RESULTS with you. 🙂
The details of this week’s mini challenge are on this page:
Simple 5-Day Keto Restart ❤ Mini-Challenge
I received the message above last night, and it totally made my day! I’ve been seeing other messages like this in our group and around the web, and wanted to share it with you… because we can all use a little inspiration now and then. 😉
I’ve actually dropped 2.6 pounds already this week myself!
I would love to hear YOUR results from the mini-challenge this week, and not just your weight loss – but anything you experienced or discovered this week while tracking your macros.
In our group, Alice said:
“Day 4 of mini challenge complete. 10 net carbs for the day. Blood glucose has been going down and ketones are going up. It was 2.3 today. Started Monday at 0.4”
When I asked her what she did or changed during the mini-challenge to achieve such GREAT results SO fast, she simply said:
“TRACKING!! I was out of the habit of tracking meals & macros.”
So simple, yet SO effective. 🙂
That’s awesome, isn’t it?!
This Keto Reboot Mini Challenge is all about KEEPING IT SIMPLE and going back to the basics. I figured it would be super easy for a challenge – but also very enlightening, even as a short experiment. 🙂
It’s a really good test for you to see EXACTLY where each of your 20 net (or total) carbs come from most days, and what changes you might want to make. Or what foods might be causing you problems or even weight loss stalls.
Even if you just track meals & macros for a few short days, it’s a such a good practice in both awareness and accountability – as well as mindful eating. 😉
On that note, another good read and a real-life example from my own food diary:

A few other fun updates from this week…
Here are current photos of me, taken on Tuesday when I went out to lunch in the city:
I’m still trying out new styles and I end up looking dorky more often than not (lol), but I do love these “destroyed” style jeans! Mostly because they’re SO comfortable, but I definitely think a layered fitted top set would look better with them. 😉
Anyway, lunch was at Chili’s Grill & Bar and I ordered my FAVORITE low carb meal there:
10 ounce ribeye steak, loaded broccoli (“add butter, cheese & sour cream please”) plus fresh avocado slices that I sprinkle with salt. YUM!
I don’t mind to admit I totally cleaned that plate. 🙂
I also got in a GREAT outdoor workout on Wednesday, which was a half mile straight down and straight up strenuous climb round trip, with a beautiful boulder-hopping hike down in the gorge between those climbs.
I did NOT feel like going out that day, actually…
But I did anyway. Watch my video about that here. I got choked up…
The physical exercise AND the sunshine felt SO good! But I’m feeling the results today for sure, lol. I forgot how much of a full body workout that cable climb really is!
It’s almost Thanksgiving!
I was surprised to find a FUN Thanksgiving Survival Guide in this month’s Keto Krate box…
… along with a lot of great keto snacks too, of course. 💕
I did an unboxing video + a fun keto chat. We talked about my hair, my dixie chicks roots (lol), how much I’m loving my dress-up jewelry 🙂 – and of course all the great products in this month’s Keto Krate box. You can watch it here:

Are you participating in the Keto Mini Challenge this week?
I would love to hear YOUR results (so far) or what you’ve discovered or noticed in the process. It’s been SO fun to hear the different updates from everyone around the web as we all do this one together. 🙂
It’s really held me accountable to “minding my macros” and I was pleasantly surprised to see the scales moving down so nicely this week!
If you didn’t start with us on Monday, or yet at all, just pick your own start date (you know: tomorrow – or better yet: today!) and give it a go for five short days. 🙂
That should catch us up for now….
It’s been a FULL week!
I look forward to hearing from you. 🙂
As always, let me know if you have any questions. xo
Best,
Lynn Terry,

p.s. If you aren’t already a part of our Low Carb Challenge Facebook Group, you’ll find the link on this page: 90DayLowCarbChallenge.com (but you don’t have to commit to 90 days for these FUN mini challenges!) 😉
This is the handy little kitchen scale I use, by the way. If you need one, I highly recommend this one. A lot of people in our group are using it and loving it too:
