You’ve probably already figured out by now that I’m in LOVE with nut butter. 😉
It’s such a great source for healthy fats, super satisfying, and a delicious way to snack on the go. I also love baking with it and making deliciously creative fat bomb combos! (aka “keto candy”)
There’s three new keto nut butter flavors that were JUST released this week, and I was super excited to try them and tell you all about them…
But when I got them I was totally perplexed. 🤔
I’ll explain why in a second…
I especially love the single serve nut butter squeeze packs on the go. They’re compact and perfect as a delicious meal replacement, very satisfying, good clean ingredients.
I keep them in my bag (ALWAYS), take them on flights and road trips, and they’re my go-to for hiking and outdoor adventures.
I love keto nut butters by the jar too, and you’ve probably seen over the last few years that I really love to COOK with them.
The delicious flavored nut butters are perfect for keto baking!
These three new keto nut butters are from Perfect Keto, which is a company I’ve really grown to love over the last year. I use their unflavored collagen powder, MCT oil, I love their keto bars – and I like their original “Perfect Keto Nut Butter” too.
I started working with them as an influencer and affiliate after falling IN LOVE with those products, which is how I score you the special offers & discount codes. But there are some products I do NOT recommend: pretty much anything with exogenous ketones, including their keto coffee. The other stuff is GREAT though and those have become staples in my keto pantry.
Their original nut butter came in single serve travel packs too, so I traveled with those over the summer (along with other favorites) and they’re handy at my desk on busy mornings too.
The jars of nut butter are better for baking of course. And the original Perfect Keto Nut Butter is super smooth & creamy, so it was ideal as the magic ingredient for a deliciously moist keto friendly loaf bread!
I’ll have to get that recipe finished & sent out to you! 😉 HINT: It’s the same recipe/method as my Keto Banana Bread Recipe but it’s a soft plain bread instead – for sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc.
First, the SAD news…
The original Perfect Keto Nut Butter is no longer available in single serve squeeze packs, and their three new nut butter flavors don’t come in singles either. 🙁
That’s a bummer because I like to stick those in the freezer sometimes for a sort of ice cream like treat, single serve and perfectly portioned!
And also because the jars and pouches won’t fit in my day bag to enjoy on the go. 😏
I’m just going to cross my fingers they make them ALL available in squeeze packs, and SOON.
Now for the WEIRD thing about these new nut butters…
Do you notice anything odd about these three beautiful brand new keto nut butters?
It’s the packaging!
Is it a bottle or a squeeze pack?!
That totally threw me for a loop. 😛
It’s a squeeze pack like the single serve nut butter packets I use all the time, but much larger (6.2 ounces) with a bottle-style lid. How ODD is that?!
I’m just going to call it a POUCH. 🤷♀️
The flavors are amazing though! 😍
There are four options:
* Chocolate Hazelnut
* Snickerdoodle
* Almond Butter & Jelly
* Variety Pack (All 3 flavors!)
The variety pack is definitely the better deal because you get three packages of nut butter, and all three flavors, so it comes out cheaper per pouch.
Plus I have a 15% off code you can use too.
I created a special link that will take you straight to the Variety Pack page that shows all 3 flavors:

IMPORTANT: it says on that page ^ you have to add their keto bars to your cart to get the discount. Instead just use my code LOWCARBTRAVELER at checkout for 15% off anything you order, you don’t have to add on keto bars to get the discount that way.
Or you can, or also get 15% off the unflavored collagen powder I use or anything else you want using the discount code LOWCARBTRAVELER instead.
Something I Missed…
I was so thrown off by the packaging, and of course next most interested in TASTING all three flavors, that I totally missed this until the next day.
There’s a “tear tab” TOO. 🙂
See it?
That is VERY handy, because eventually you’ll want to strip away the top & cap and lick the container clean. 🙂 Or if you’re more civilized, use a rubber spatula to enjoy the last of it.
I do the same thing with my jars of nut butter – scrape them totally clean. Not a SINGLE DROP of that deliciousness goes to waste in my house!
Chocolate Hazelnut, Snickerdoodle, PB&J – The Taste Test
Still perplexed with the packaging, I tried to knead it first like the smaller squeeze packs – which was awkward. Then I just gave it a good shake. It didn’t seem clumpy at all (it isn’t) so that wasn’t an issue.
The cap seals nicely, and it’s actually a very nice no-mess way to pour out a TBSP or any size portion you want.
THAT impressed me.
So for my first taste test, I simply poured a tbsp of each flavor and tried them one at a time. They’re all delicious. They’re definitely sweet, so this is more of a dessert type nut butter – or perfect for baking or making keto candy.
On the left is Snickerdoodle, middle is Chocolate Hazelnut, right is PB&J:
As you can see, these are more textured with little bits of flavor. Not chunky, but also not super smooth & creamy like the original Perfect Keto Nut Butter.
You get a nice textured feel with these three flavors, and the flavors are BOLD. In a very good way, I mean – they’re delicious.
The Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Hazelnut are both AMAZING.
The Almond Butter & Jelly is good… but not my favorite of the three. It’s a little tart maybe? BUT, I do think it will make amazing “berry crunch keto muffins” – so that’s what I plan to use it for. 🙂
I have to say, a single TBSP of each was very rich and super satisfying…
That taste test felt more like a decadent dessert plate!
After I tried all three, twice (lol), I ordered another variety pack. With the weather cooling down and winter coming soon, these will be FUN to bake with, or to make snickerdoodle keto pancakes on weekend mornings.
I’m going to try that “berry crunch keto muffins” idea first though I think. The same keto blueberry muffin recipe I shared with you before, and I think I’ll add blueberries still and a soft granola for the crunch, and some kind of yummy topping. 🙂
If you only want ONE FLAVOR, choose between Chocolate Hazelnut (think: Nutella!) or Snickerdoodle.
I have to admit, I’m still perplexed on WHY they chose to package them this way. I have never seen nut butter in a pouch, with a bottle top. So odd! 🤔
It works though, and it’s not messy at all – which is VERY nice.
They’re GREAT for a quick craving too! You can pour out a single tablespoon and totally savor it. It’s super rich, sweet, no weird aftertaste, just absolutely DELICIOUS.
I still want single serve squeeze packs though. 😋
I created a special link that will take you straight to the Variety Pack page that shows all 3 flavors (the best value) or each individual flavor option:

Or you can add keto bars if you like those, or also get 15% off the unflavored collagen powder I use or anything else you want using the discount code LOWCARBTRAVELER instead of the one on that page.
I’m all about getting the best deal. 😉
Q&A – Thoughts / Questions?
We’ve been discussing this on Facebook here if you want to join in, or check out what we’re talking about.
Deb asked about the number of servings…
Each pouch is 6.2 ounces, a serving is 2 TBSP, and the label says “about 6 servings per container.”
They have good quality ingredients. You can see the labels, ingredients, nutrition facts etc for each flavor on this page.
The PB&J and the Chocolate Hazelnut are 3 net carbs for a 2 TBSP serving. The Snickerdoodle nut butter is 2 net carbs for a 2 TBSP serving.
I hope that helps you decide, since I’m sure you’re seeing this all over by now. They were just released earlier this week, and I wanted to taste them and get all the details together for you – along with the best deal & discount code to use if you DO want to try them.
Let me know if you have any questions, or need any recipe links. I mentioned a few but I’m not sure I linked them all as I’m headed out of town on another trip and wrote this in a hurry for you. 😉
Just drop a comment & let me know!
Or if you’ve tried these already, let’s hear what YOU think.
Stay tuned for fun fat bombs & recipe creations from this new nut butter trio. ❣️
Best,
Lynn Terry,
