You’ll get to see video of Joe using the Core Slider Discs in a second (and find out why I passed them over to him! lol) so don’t miss that part below! 🙂
This week I got a fun package from MNDFL MVMT at Amazon: their Fitness Core Ab Slider Discs, which they sent me free to review. Super nice! Especially considering I’m seriously focused on my core right now. 🙂 🙂
The core workout discs are very simple, lightweight and also inexpensive. It comes with a booklet with 20 different workouts you can do with them too, complete with illustrations – which was very helpful.
As you know, I’ve been using the Ab Carver Pro consistently lately.
You can see them below side by side. The Fitness Core Ab Slider Discs are much smaller and more lightweight, making them perfect to take with me when I travel! The large Ab Carver, not so much. 😛 LOL – it’s heavy!
The discs are slick on one side, with fabric on the other. That means you can do your core workouts on carpet OR hardwood floors. I especially like that given my hotel rooms are always carpeted!
Like I mentioned in the video, coming back up is WAY harder with the discs. It requires serious core work to pull yourself back to position, lol. I was scared to death I would faceplant in the floor!
That’s not a bad thing… it just pushes me harder and challenges me more. I tried it on both my hardwood floors and my carpet. The carpet was definitely easier, but not by much. 🙂 It’s a serious core workout!!
I talked Joe into trying out the discs…
He loved the variety of workouts you can do with them. I felt safer with my Ab Carver Pro 🙂 for now, I should say – until I can work up more core strength!
I’m loving my FUN summer Outdoor Fitness Adventures and those are really toning my arms and legs, but my core… well, that definitely requires more focused effort.
I’m making it a point to do arm & ab workouts at home every single day (or wherever I am!) so this was a FUN product to review!!
I’m excited about the variety of workouts you can do with the Fitness Core Ab Slider Discs, like Cross Mountain Climbers and Side Lunges. And REALLY excited about getting enough core strength to ROCK these discs. That’s the goal! 🙂
I was afraid of the Ab Carver Pro at first too, lol. I’m now doing 100 reps a day, in the time it takes to brew HALF a pot a coffee (which is usually when I do them, lol). I love mastering things I think I’m afraid of. Like big cliffs and crazy rope swings. 🙂 haha
What do YOU do or use for a good core workout?
I would love to hear your thoughts!
I’m going to try some of the other workouts in the booklet the next time Joe is over. When he’s here to spot me 🙂 lol. These little lightweight discs can do A LOT!
You can check out the product and the reviews on Amazon here. My favorite thing about the discs is how portable they are… #NoExcuses

I bought the pro Ab Roller, and am working with it now. I also do Water Aerobics 3 or 4 times a week for one hour, and I bowl once a week for two hours. I walk, at a slow pace while i’m teaching a class for two hours once a week.
I intend to start using weights for strength building and toning up, well I actually have started that today.
I love the Ab Carver Pro. π I worked up to 100 reps a day – and never (EVER, lol) thought I’d be able to do that! Water aerobics is great too – one of my favorites this time of year. I’m glad you said that, because I need to see if I can still sign up here!
I have light weights, I need to start using those. I love the Tricep Dips and other exercises like it that use your own body weight too. Those are EASY!
