This morning (Wednesday) I weighed in at 160.6 pounds. That’s only about a half pound loss since my last weigh-in, and a total of about 3 pounds lost in the last week or so – but I’ll take it!
Especially after going through my recent long-term stall and not seeing the scales move at all there for weeks on end.
I feel GREAT this morning too. My stomach *feels* smaller. I think I’m finally past the “alcohol stall” from the drinks I had over the weekend. 😀
After my little splurge on Monday, I hit the gym HARD on Tuesday morning.
Of course, I hit a drive through on the way there (geez, I know, heh) and didn’t just get breakfast – I went “grocery shopping” at McDonalds. LOL.
I ordered two Sausage Egg McMuffin’s – both with double meat double egg. (It’s cheaper than ordering four!)
So I got four fried eggs and four pieces of sausage, plus a large Iced Coffee with sugar free vanilla.
I ate about half that by 11am.
I have to share this fun little video with you, lol. And my personal tip: don’t try to change clothes on a moving treadmill! I almost wiped out yesterday trying to get out of an undershirt about a third of the way into my workout when I got too hot. 😛 Here’s the video my friend Kim shared with me (she’s my workout buddy):
Hilarious! And THIS is the reason those “calorie counters” on your exercise machines are completely useless. There’s no way they can count what you’re REALLY doing on the treadmill. 😉 LOL.
I often work out my arms while on steep incline at a fast pace. And sometimes Kim and I take weights for our arms too. I also do some of my Zumba moves at the same time, to really get my heart rate up – or work in other moves to target/tone certain areas.
After my workout, and my second sausage & egg, I watched “The Following” – a new series on Fox (very intense, but right up my alley!) – and then took a long afternoon nap. Around 5:30 I had another sausage & egg. My goal was to eat super clean (very low carb). Plus I didn’t have a huge appetite, which is a good thing!
I loved having the food on hand throughout the day, which – for a non cook like me, lol – was really handy. I’m bad to go “grocery shopping” at fast food drive-through’s like that. When I go to Wendy’s I always pick up a couple of extra salads too. 😀
One of the kids ate my 4th Sausage Egg McMuffin (with the muffin – I don’t eat those, of course). So for my last meal – around 8pm I think – I had the leftover hot wings from the party this weekend. About 7 hot wings plus some string cheese and a few fried pork skins. It was a fun little “snack meal” while I watched a movie and wound down for the night.
Yesterday was a super easy, super low carb day. Nothing green in there, but I’m going out to lunch today so I’ll be sure to get something green in. 😉 And I’m off to the gym again this evening – where I plan to try some of those Treadmill moves again. LOL.

ROFL at the image of MYSELF trying to do those moves on a treadmill! I kept expecting to see her make a big splat, so kuddos to her for the successful dance moves! LOL I really DO need to start going back to the gym – thanks for the reminder!! π

LOL I hear ya – too funny! But some serious talent and coordination. π They say when the gym is empty she turns on three treadmills and dancing across all three of them! π―

I know, I kept expecting her to wipe out bigtime! She’s pretty talented if she can “multi-task” like that! I would have “treadmill rash” in no time π

I know, right – she’s full of energy!! π Zumba is my favorite workout at home, and it’s a lot of fun incorporating some of the moves on the treadmill. Only when the gym is empty though, lol. Fortunately Kim and I usually go really early or really late, so we can goof off and up our cardio as much as we please. π
