I just started taking this Cytokine Suppress and wanted to share why + what I learned about it, in case it can help ANYone else (too). I said in my last blog post “I don’t do supplements” 💊 (ie keto supplements) but shared what I’m taking now due to longcovid – which presents with symptoms similar to many other autoimmune disorders & chronic conditions.
I got it on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/3CUvShy

💊 Cytokine Suppress with EGCG
I heard about this supplement in a detailed discussion in my longcovid support group over the weekend 🔎 and the comments really piqued my interest!
The group has been an invaluable resource for navigating this 16 month nightmare. If you have long covid too, that facebook group is a total SAVE. 🙌
3️⃣ A doctor that left a review on the Amazon page suggested you start with a triple dose, and several other people mentioned that in their reviews too: take 3 a day to start (instead of just one).
* This advice is for people in a health crisis. For preventative care use, just take 1 a day
📋 SYMPTOMS
I mentioned my neurological symptoms have REALLY improved on my current supplement combo. Those were severe – and incredibly scary. 😳 I’m finally able to work a few hours a day again (yay!!!) but I’m not at all well, and still suffering & struggling A LOT.
🙋♀️ MY current symptoms of interest in relation to this supplement include: crushing fatigue (ie: full body shutdown), joint pain & stiffness, nerve pain, muscle fatigue, brain fog, nausea, abdominal distension, erratic heart rate, shortness of breath, exercise intolerance, constant 24/7 histamine response, inflammation, swelling ankles & feet & hands (etc etc).
Basically: my nervous system is malfunctioning, and I’m in constant pain and feel sick daily – sort of like recovering from a really bad flu, except way worse, and it never ends. 😵
I’m sure I’m leaving stuff out, but basically: I can hardly function most hours of most days, and when I am up doing “necessary life stuff” I’m in A LOT of pain and it’s a real struggle to get through the most basic things (like a shower, or just getting up and down).
Issues / conditions mentioned in the reviews include:
✅ rheumatoid arthritis
✅ brain inflammation
✅ long covid
✅ autoimmune disease
✅ Lupus
✅ chronic fatigue
✅ chronic inflammation
✅ lyme disease
✅ EBV / mono
✅ post-viral syndrome
✅ arthritis
✅ diagnosed with high Cytokine levels
✅ joint pain
✅ heart inflammation
✅ crohns disease
✅ ME / CFS
…. etc
➡️ Erica said, “after 5 days on this – I FEEL LIKE A NEW PERSON. Actually I feel like the person I was before I was diagnosed with Lupus. I awake with energy, I feel motivated, and not surprising, even my mood has improved.” 💯❣️
(that inspired me!!!)
💬 Have you ever heard of this supplement, or taken anything similar – or found something else that works for longcovid, or any of the issues & conditions listed above?
Obviously eating healthy and low carb is key (or ideal) with any inflammatory condition. Carbs and sugar promote inflammation in the body, so I’ve been eating very simple and very low carb to maintain nutritional ketosis, to better manage inflammation & flare-ups. That’s how I’ve stayed OFF pain medication through this ordeal.
* and yes, I’ve tested that: when I “carb up” … I FLARE UP 🥴
I didn’t want to end up on a whole slew of prescriptions (and I’ve been offered plenty). I really just want to GET WELL and allow my body to recover. Fortunately my doctor is on board with my approach of testing supplements (minimal), eating healthy and simple and low carb, fresh air & sunshine, plenty of rest & water – plus patience (LOTS of patience, lol).

I try not to talk about LC too much because I know it seems like a negative topic. But I didn’t realize how many other people in our group were (silently) suffering or struggling with chronic conditions or autoimmune issues! 💔 If you’re not, you probably know someone that is…
If I find ANYthing that helps, or that we can try, I definitely want to share that with you.
Like the monolaurin I mentioned in that last blog post… I give that one five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That has been the MOST help of ALL the supplements I’ve taken over the last year+!
I was really sold on it after all the research I did on MCT oil benefits a few years ago, and my personal experience with that – but still skeptical of “miracle supplements”.
The reviews on it were great too though, so I decided to give it a try. I’ve been happily impressed, and really glad to be able to get back to work finally!! 🥰 (at least part time)
📲 Lauricidin®- The Original Monolaurin Supplement
Despite being physically impaired with so many miserable symptoms and daily challenges… I am HAPPIER THAN I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE 💖 and feel inspired and incredibly grateful.
Something about being put to the test makes you hyper aware of what really matters, what really doesn’t, just how strong your strengths really are, how many beautiful things there are to enjoy in a day or in an hour or in a single square foot of grass. 🌼
I feel so much gratitude for the life that I’ve lived so far, the things I’ve experienced and accomplished, the positive changes that have & are happening as a result of this illness, the positive ways it is changing ME as a person, true friends & good communities, and so much more. 💕
I feel like h#ll most days – but I also feel HAPPY and hopeful and grateful, and am very much looking forward to even more beautiful life experiences and moments of joy! 🌞
If this supplement works… I’ll be back out on the trails in no time seeing my gorgeous Tennessee waterfalls!! 👣💦🥰
I wanted to share this with you real quick, because if you’re suffering/struggling too – relief cannot come fast enough!
I got mine the very next day (yesterday). ⚡️ Amazon is super fast!! 🙌 I took two, one in the morning when it arrived and a second one last night – and plan on taking 3 today and the rest of the week like that doctor recommended in his review.
Wish me luck 🤞 and stay tuned!:) xo

After being completely non functional and down for over 6 months, unable to work or drive etc, I am SO grateful to have found something (monolaurin) that is giving me relief from the cognitive dysfunction & other (scary) neurological symptoms. It feels GREAT to be back to working and doing normal things !!! even if it’s just for a few hours at a time. π
I’m feeling hopeful for another big positive change with the addition of this supplement, especially after reading the support group feedback + the reviews. It would be SO nice to be out of constant pain, and back to at least a short easy walk (to start). I miss my walks & hikes π and my rivers & waterfalls!
I’ll definitely keep you posted. π Hope things are well with you! xo
