📌 I know things are crazy and scary and weird right now. I’ve been talking to a lot of people that are “stress eating” or otherwise off track for various reasons.
I have a new post in the works on why now is NOT the time to “fall off the wagon” (more than ever!).
While I’m busy writing that for you… stay smart, stay safe, stay strong, stay the happiest, healthiest version of yourself you can be! And STAY HOME. 😉

Hey, Lynn;
My weight loss so far this year has fluctuated from 159 to 138.9, unfortunately, even though I keep track of my carbs, and do not cheat, right now I am about 143 lbs. I hate this weight! I really donβt understand why my weight fluctuates because I have been so careful not to cheat and to maintain my 15g carb level, but it fluctuates almost every day. I am a vegetarian, I try to keep my dairy products low, and even the stevia/erythritol blend to a minimum. I do eat nuts, but again try to keep that at one serving per day. I am eating more veggies, in order to get enough protein. I have been using the premier protein clear beverages, which has 20g of protein, and no sugar.
Any suggestions?

Hi Susanne,
You said that you were tracking carbs. How are you tracking, and what other macros do you track? I would be curious your usual calories and percentage of fat in particular – to get a broader picture.
My weight fluctuates a bit as well, but it’s important to analyze that in more detail as well: Is it bloating? Do you notice inflammation, stomach discomfort, signs of water retention? Are you exercising? Has your size changed up/down (inches / clothes sizes)? etc.
A body composition scale is helpful, but not 100% accurate – but better than that is your own sense of self: how you feel, body measurements, physical changes, etc – and analyzing the potential culprits from there.
For example, I discovered (after too many frustrating months of confusion) that I have an intolerance or sensitivity (?) to chicory root fiber – sometimes also labeled as inulin. It makes me bloated, lethargic and upsets my stomach and my weight loss fluctuates as a result.
Those are just a few points we can explore if you like. Happy to discuss this further and see if we can get to the bottom of it together! π
