If you’re participating in the year-end Winter Low Carb Challenge here is the Week Three Weigh-In thread in the group. You can weigh in there, or leave a comment here on this post with your total number of pounds lost since we started on October 29th.
I look forward to hearing your results so far! 🙂
I have two new videos to share with you in case you missed those on Facebook, plus a free book you may want to download – while it’s free right now.
The book looks good, but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet myself.
Both videos are casual chats where I share A LOT of insight – into my own weight loss journey, my “clean testing” experiments, and more.
I also got two fun new kitchen things in from Amazon this week that I’ll show you. 🙂
First…
This book is FREE to download right now: “Never Binge Again!”
You don’t need a Kindle to download and read it. You can use any computer or mobile device with this Free Amazon Kindle App. Enjoy! 💕
I’ll embed the two videos below, but if you’re reading this by email you can’t see them – so you’ll want to click here to read this post online and watch the videos.
This first video is a November Keto Krate Unboxing & Explanation video because there were some confusing options on the site I wanted to clear up for you.
I went on to talk about the detailed process I use for product reviews which involves blood glucose & ketone testing, the series of events that requires, etc. I think you’ll find it interesting. 😉
I mentioned in that video that Keto Krate now has a GIFT option, which is perfect timing for the holidays!
They are shipping those November boxes next day right now too so you’ll get one FAST if you sign up today.
Coupon code TRAVELINGLOWCARB15 will get you 15% off your first box.

The second video is about Motivation, Inspiration & Staying On Track – and I got a bit personal with some of my own struggles along the way throughout MY weight loss journey…
As promised, here are the two new FUN kitchen items I got in from Amazon this week:
Silicone Muffin Cupcake Pan Set – Mini 24 Cups and Regular 12 Cups Muffin Tin + Bonus 12 Silicone Baking Cups
6-Piece Colorful Kitchen Knives Set – Non-Stick Stainless Steel Knives with Round PP Handle, Display Gift Box
I thought these were really pretty, and UNIQUE! And of course they’d make a great gift. 🙂

I hope you enjoy the free book and the videos!

It really saddens me that for 39 years I’ve battled weight issues. I was on a 8 week stretch of binge free and I made beer bread and brownies for the family and I allowed myself to have one piece of beer bread. The next day I made another loaf and ate 3/4 of the loaf and binged that day. For 3 days I screwed up and now I’m back to plan but I hate this sickness. I can’t tell anyone because my close circle doesn’t understand. I do have a 100% Keto menu planned for Thanksgiving. I just don’t get why I have slip ups still.
Sorry, this turned out to be long and winded. Guess I’m cleansing my soul.
I totally get it, Patricia – as you know, I’ve been there myself. I stayed stuck in that on/off in/out cycle longer than I care to admit. It’s hard. I think I *made* it harder though. I know I did. π
The first time I committed to 90 full days of strict keto (20 net carbs max) and stuck it out all the way through – was the END of my binge days, for good. I’ve never had the desire again!
That’s the BEST thing I’ve ever done for myself. Truly. It was a horrible roller coaster both physically and emotionally. *hugs* xo
Thank you Lynn. I’m so grateful for you. You are the real deal.
Lynn, I saw on one of your posts a gadget that you have that took your ketone levels and it said 1.5.
I would like to have one. where did you purchase or what is it called, so maybe I can pick on up at Wallmart or on Amazon. Also, do you recommend a heart monitor for excersizing, I don’t seem to get my heart rate up enough with just power walking, I would like to try weights and walking or HIIT. I do have to be careful with my back, not allowed twisting and stuff because I need rods implanted, but would like to lose the weight before surgery, Thanks for all you do. I appreciate you very much.
Hi Debbi π
I use the Keto Mojo testing kit, to test both blood glucose and blood ketone levels. I have a discount link that will get you 15% off: https://keto-mojo.com/discount/nji98uhbvgy76tfc?rfsn=1556350.98e0df&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=1556350.98e0df It’s a great value, they have amazing support, and it’s THE trusted testing kit in the Keto community.
You can read more about it here:

I use a Fitbit to keep an eye on heart rate, for exercise goals, to track sleep quality and workouts, etc. It’s such a fun gadget! They’re having sales right now I think. I have the Charge 2: https://amzn.to/2RbQSHR the Q&A and reviews on that page should prove helpful. π
