While we’re waiting on the next Keto Krate to arrive, this is a great time to tell you about The Keto Box. It’s a similar company, I assume a direct competitor to Keto Krate, and the pricing and products are similar as well.
People have asked me if I’ve tried other keto delivery companies, so when they offered to send me a box to check out & sponsor this review, it was an easy Yes!
I’ve had a chance to receive & review 3 different boxes full of low carb products from The Keto Box now. I’ll show you what all came in this August box – because this is a GREAT way to discover new low carb foods you may want to try! 🙂
TheKetoBox.com – Use Promo Code: KOOKIE2017 to get the NEW Peanut Butter Keto Kookie in your September box!
Note: While I’ve been working with the Keto Krate company for a full year now, I am not affiliated with The Keto Box in any way outside of this sponsored review.
Using the Promo Code above gets you FREE Keto Kookies in your box, and also lets the company know who referred you, but no money is changing hands on orders. I’m required by the FTC to let you know things like that.;)
The August box above is no longer shipping so if you sign up now you’ll get the September box, with the NEW Peanut Butter Keto Kookies if you use the code.
I don’t know what will be included, but you can see what was in my last two boxes here, plus I included a list of everything in THIS box below – along with the link where you can buy these low carb products individually.
This month’s freebie is the NEW Keto Kookie Peanut Butter Flavor!
This is an exclusive launch for the new Keto Kookie. It isn’t available publicly yet. They won’t even start preorders for the new Peanut Butter flavor until September 12th! TheKetoBox.com subscribers are the first in the world to taste it.:)
I’m a BIG fan of the Keto Kookies so I’m excited to have the brand new peanut butter cookies to try! 🙂

“KetoBrownie bars are made with only natural and organic ingredients formulated to deliver optimal ketogenic macro-nutrients in a brownie bar snack.”
BHU Primal – Salted Caramel Pecan Low Carb Bar

Nude Spice – Heady & Herby
This has great reviews… I can’t wait to try it!
“Heady & Herby Seasoning is ideal for giving your meals a delicious kick! This seasoning also features a healthy dose of garlic, meaning you will be able to add even more depth, versatility and flavour to your meals.
But that’s not all… here at Nudespice, we firmly believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice flavour for calories. With this in mind, all of our seasonings are low calorie, gluten free, contain no added fillers or refined sugar, and are vegan friendly, allowing you to enjoy maximum flavour without the guilt.”
NuNaturals Cocoa Syrup & Sweetener Trial Pack
The cocoa syrup looks interesting! It says it’s great in coffee, chocolate milk (so it will go well with the Macadamia Milk above!), on ice cream, in your favorite recipes, etc. It’s organic, NON-GMO, zero calories and zero carbs…
Peanut Butter Keto Kookie
This is a BRAND NEW flavor, not even released publicly yet (preorders begin mid-September). I cannot wait to try it!! Note: I recently did a comparison between Keto Cookie vs Good Dee’s Low Carb Cookie Mix here.
I’m excited to get to try the brand new Peanut Butter Keto Kookie. 🙂 Everything in this box looks interesting actually, so I can’t wait to dig in and try some of these new items! Stay tuned as I do, and share my thoughts on them with you here in my daily food diaries. 😉
Again, this ^ box is no longer available but you WILL get the Peanut Butter Keto Kookie in the September box if you sign up now – and use the special promo code.
My Thoughts (What I Know, and What I Don’t Know!) About The Keto Box
They’re now taking orders for the September box. I’m not sure what will be in it, but the products I shared with you above should give you an idea of what to expect.
TheKetoBox.com – Use Promo Code: KOOKIE2017 to get the NEW Peanut Butter Keto Kookie in your September box.
They don’t specifically say they are gluten free, or “malitol free” like Keto Krate does, or have any specifics on their site other than the products included in each box are “keto friendly.” So that’s all I really know, outside of the examples I’ve seen so far.
The products included in my three boxes have been GREAT. Very interesting, new FUN things to try – which is what I love so much about these low carb boxes & delivery services. It’s such a great way to discover new low carb foods I never would have found otherwise!
It is only available for delivery in the United States, although they WILL ship to Canada but the cost is just too high to justify.
The price is about the same between Keto Krate and The Keto Box, btw.
Have you tried a Low Carb / Keto Delivery service yet?
If so, I would love to hear your thoughts. I’ve really enjoyed working with Keto Krate over the last year, and trying so many great new low carb products, and it was fun to try The Keto Box in comparison these last two months too!
Even if you don’t subscribe to keto deliveries, or don’t have an interest in that (or your outside the U.S.!) I would love to hear your thoughts on the 9 low carb foods I shared with you from this August box…
Have you tried any of them, or which products piqued your interest?
I can’t wait to try the new Keto Kookies! 🙂
Best,
Lynn Terry,
aka @LowCarbTraveler

Thank you so much for this review. I am a bit disgruntled with Keto Krate because of their shipping issues. Seems every month I get a ‘shipping notification’ and it is a week before my box even gets to the post office from their warehouse! When I got the notice that their July shipment was delayed I went searching for another box to try because I was going on a road trip and wanted some goodies to take with. I found “MyKetoBox” which was supposed to ship that day, but I guess I missed the deadline – I emailed them and they had a left over box so sent it with some extra goodies! I think the Keto Kookie you mentioned above was in it – because I recognized it. Not sure which box it was in…they are running together a little bit. Anyway, I have since received another MyKetoBox which was great! and they ship from Virginia, which is where I am. I might cancel Keto Krate and go for Keto Box instead if KK can’t fix their shipping issues. I can’t afford all 3! Even 2 is a little too much but I’m addicted π

I know in July Keto Krate got delayed with a product shipment issue (a product getting to them, that was going in the box), but I also know they did some hiring lately and are likely just going through growing pains as a startup company. That would be my guess. π They are working on getting kinks worked out from what I can tell.
I do love the boxes. So much variety, and so many new low carb foods to try! That really helps, especially with the fun specialty items I never would have discovered otherwise. It keeps things “fresh” and it’s always FUN to see what we get!

Somebody’s been workin’ overtime here! The new digs are looking mighty fine, Lynn! I tiptoed in over the weekend to ferret the recipe file, and WOW! Me likey the new setup! π I made the biscuits last week (and lost them in the back of the fridge for a few days). They’ve been filling the lunch slot, along with abundantly-buttered veggies the last two days, and I must say mighty delish, they are! I filled a gap in my available cheese with a mozzarella stick chopped up. Yum. Also whipped up Ms. Good Dee’s blondies over the weekend. You’re so right about the cream cheese/nuts. They are delicious, but mosdef need to cut that “sweet” here. A side bennie to long-term low carbing that I much appreciate is that desweetening of the ole tastebuds.! π
Thanks so much for the recipe links (yesterday?). I never get tired of trying new ones, and I see several that will work well here. The summer heat prompted me to replace my now-defunct countertop oven, and I added a ROTISSERIE with the newbie…keto heaven, I’ll be in!! Wolfgang Puck will have nuthin’ on me! π
I see my nemesis “exercise” has, as usual, managed to knock on my door again. Sigh. Guess there’s no getting away from it. π I’ve had good results with Classical Stretch and rebounding on a Pilates cardioboard. That darn cardioboard just won’t do anything without me though. (wink).
I tried the KetoKrate last month and felt it wasn’t probably the month to start. I must have gotten a dud with my Keto Cookie. Blech bigtime! I have another KetoKrate coming next month now that I’ve mastered adding more fat to the diet and have my macros and tracking settled and in place. Five down since refining the macros three weeks ago. Tada! This upgraded plan works so much better than the old Atkins here as I do much better with the macros. Atkins was a little too ambiguous for me as I had to dig really deep to come up with my own macros, and the healthy fat was never emphasized.
The Keto Box didn’t get off to a good start here as they were sold out the first time I attempted to use them and then when I tried again I would have to wait a month to get anything. In this “instant gratification” world, I’m afraid they’ll have to do better for my business. No grudges though so I’ll try back at a later time after I’ve given KetoKrate a go for awhile.
Looking forward to the upcoming challenge, Lynn. Locked and loaded and ready to chaaaarge!! π

Thank you, Kathy! π
I agree, I don’t have the desire for sweets I used to have so I prefer my foods much less sweet – and my cookies more like shortbread even.
I’m so glad working out your macros did the trick. 5 pounds down is great!! And I bet your food tastes better than ever too with all those healthy fats. π
I look forward to my workouts being second nature again. It’s SO easy to get out of the habit and forget how GREAT it feels!!

Well, SHOOT! I forgot to mention some of my “likes” from my first KetoKrate last month.
I really liked the Front Porch Habanero BBQ flavored pecans. A nice departure from the plain. With pecans being a mainstay here, a little flavor variety is appreciated and this one really hit the spot.
I was able to sample Fat Snax Cookies for the first time in their peanut butter variety. Very nice, but I went whole hog for the Ginger Tumeric on my own dime. With loaded cream cheese….Oooooh la la! The taste buds were a dancin’! π This seems like such a nice startup company, and I’m looking forward to what Jeff comes up with in the future..
The Keto Love Carrot Cake Almond Butter was a hit, too. I had celery calling out for a partner. I just stuffed the celery for a nice, crunchy snack. Really tasty and satisfying.
I also, ordered some Pili Nuts and am looking forward to trying them out really soon. Your exuberant reviews and others have me wringing the hands in glee with anticipation. A new healthy fat find! π Cauliflower isn’t a fave here so I’ll need to get creative to make it palatable. With all the recipes I’ve gathered online this should be an adventure in “I CAN do this”!
Lynn Terry says
I love Ginger Tumeric Fatsnax cookies and Pili Nuts! π I can’t say I love cauliflower either, but when you add in Spicy Chili Pili Nuts, plenty of butter, grilled shrimp and other fun stuff… it DOES make a nice meal.
I enjoy doing the reviews. Except when something is yucky. π But I at least enjoy warning everyone else NOT to eat it, lol.
