As you know I eat out A LOT, both when I’m traveling and also at home. I love that you can easily eat low carb at practically any restaurant, because that makes it super easy to stick to your diet when you’re on the go.
Eating out so much can get expensive of course, so I wanted to share one of my favorite resources with you: Restaurants.com
And guess what I discovered this morning when I went to look for some new restaurant coupons?! They’re also on Ebates! ๐ ๐ That means you can also get up to 10% cashback – on top of the restaurant savings!!
If you aren’t on Ebates yet, here’s my invite link. Be sure to join! It’s free to sign up. Also check out my tips for earning more cash with Ebates here.
They run specials all the time where you can get Restaurant Coupons even cheaper than usual. Those are the times to cash in! I noticed they’re running one now. I am always surprised at the cool restaurants they have in my area, or in areas I’ll be.
Give it a quick search and see!
If you HURRY they have a special today (June 9th) where you can get $10 Restaurant Certificates for only $2.40 so definitely check it out real quick. They run specials & deals all the time, so once you get signed up just watch for specials.
We were up near Tracy City, TN yesterday on our hike and I found a neat little family owned restaurant listed on Restaurant.com You can get a $25 certificate for only $10.
It’s just free money!
Add in the Ebates Cashback and it’s DOUBLE FREE MONEY! ๐
I just found a local restaurant here in my little middle-of-nowhere town that I haven’t tried yet. I’ve been meaning to, so I’m definitely going to grab the coupon while it’s on sale and give them a try! You want to make sure you have your Ebates browser add-on set up when you order so you can activate the cashback option.

I’ve already earned $536.65 with Ebates and only signed up recently, so that’s something you REALLY want to do sooner rather than later. I could kick myself for not doing it years ago when I first heard about it!!
Once you have Ebates set up, Search Restaurants.com for your zip code – or somewhere you plan to be soon. These are GREAT for saving money on vacation or anytime you’re traveling. Plus it helps you find cool new places to try. ๐
I was really excited when I discovered Restaurants.com was on Ebates this morning, and also when I realized they’re having a special. Unfortunately it ends today, so check it out quick. But they do run specials OFTEN. They always have great deals!
I am affiliated with both companies so these are my referral links. Thank you in advance for using my links when you sign up! It’s things like this that keep my blog, recipes & daily low carb food diaries free for you.
So many people have written to thank me for all the great low carb restaurant ideas I’ve shared here. I’ll continue to share more as I navigate my way through restaurants around the world. I know it’s helpful to get creative ideas for replacements or substitutions, or low carb options that are already on the menu.
Here’s just one recent example, at Chili’s Grill & Bar:
I got the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich (no bun of course!) and ordered “Loaded Broccoli” with it (broccoli with cheese, butter & sour cream) instead of fries:
Yum! ๐
… and Save Money! It’s that easy. ๐ *cheers*
I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at all the cool places that offer discount restaurant coupons in your area. They change all the time too, so check it out now and then for new options. Especially when they’re running such great specials!
And don’t forget to use your Ebates and activate the cashback option in your browser to save even more money! The Ebates cashback money will come straight to your PayPal account or as a check, so you can use that anyway you please. ๐

My son, who is not eating low carb to the extent his Dad and I are, loves Popeye’s Chicken… fried chicken with fries and a biscuit, hardly low carb but he found that they have their blackened chicken tenders and southern slow cooked green beans with bacon … 3 tenders have 2g carbs, 2g fat, no sugar and 26g protein, the regular size green beans has 6g carbs and 2g fiber for 4 net carbs. Not the best but not bad for eating out… and under $5.00
That’s not bad at all, Kris – and much better for you than anything else on the menu. ๐ Great find!
