Today is “Sourdough Bread Day” 🙂
Did you know that Great Low Carb Bread Company makes a LOW CARB sourdough bread?! You can get it here:
It’s only one (1) net carb per slice.
It’s also kosher and GMO free.
When you order it from Netrition (the cheapest place to get it), there is only one flat rate shipping fee – no matter how much you order.
If you want to add other things to your order, see what others ordered at Netrition for some fun low carb ideas to try!
I have tried ordering with and without thermal packaging and expedited shipping. It hasn’t made a difference either way for me. My order always arrives fast with the regular (cheap) flat rate shipping.
I haven’t tried the Low Carb Sourdough Bread yet, but I’m a BIG fan of their “Low Carb Everything Bagels” and I also love the “Everything Sliced Bread” for making delicious low carb grilled cheese sandwiches. 🙂

My absolute FAVORITE low carb bread though… is the Everything Bagels. 🙂
They are great toasted with butter, with cream cheese, with Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Wedges, or to toast up and make a big fat bagel sandwich!

Just when you thought you’d never get to have bread again…
Enjoy! 🙂
I love the Great Low Carb Bread Company for so many reasons. It doesn’t throw me out of ketosis. It doesn’t stall my weight loss. It’s kosher. It’s GMO free. And I was really impressed when I compared the ingredients against other products!

p.s. I personally did NOT like the low carb cinnamon bagels, but other people did. I would love to hear which low carb breads you’ve tried, and which you love the most!
* I have been ordering from Netrition for 5 years now, and LOVE these low carb bread options! I’m also an affiliate for Netrition and earn a small commission when I refer new customers to them, so thank you for using my links here. It’s what helps keep this blog and all of my low carb food diaries FREE for you! 🙂 *cheers*
I too love the low carb bread and bagels, but apparently they don’t like me, and aggravate my IBS. It must be the added fiber. π
Oooh, that’s unfortunate Sandie – because IBS is miserable. π Ack! Did you try only having a slice or two a day, and you’re sure it wasn’t something you ate *with* the bread? Either way, I’d avoid it too if I had that problem – because that result is no fun. π
Thanks for this little reminder Lynn.. I just ordered some more and for the first time am excited to try the pumpkin spice bread! There was a such a good review of it on Netrition, my mouth was watering and I happened to suddenly want it so bad since I’m having my morning coffee right now.. Yikes, all that mention of butter and cream cheese! I enjoy the way you include links and cover all the bases in your posts, making it so easy to find exactly what you’re talking about. You’ve made ALL the difference in my being able to commit and sustain my discipline in this lifestyle. It’s so easy now, and that’s how it should be.. it’s just eating π
Exactly, Wendy: It’s just eating. π Well said! I find eating low carb to be super easy. It’s simply about making choices, and you have to make food choices every single day – several times a day! – anyway. π
I look forward to what you think of the low carb pumpkin spice bread. I haven’t tried that one yet!
I love the low carb bread and always have it in the freezer. I also make croutons with it. I like the hot dog bun also but use them more for bread sticks than buns for hot dogs. Just slice them long ways spread with butter and sprinkle with garlic powder then place under the broiler and you have 2 bread sticks for each bun. What I really like about their breads is that they are high in fiber. I like all the products I have tried from Netrition.
Me too, Diana – it’s nice to have some variety in my low carb lifestyle! π
Lynn, you turned me on to Great Low Carb Bread Company through your website and I thank you for that! They are a lifesaver when I want toast with my eggs or a grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered the sourdough the first time I placed an order and while it tasted great, the bread was much smaller than the plain and everything loafs – it was shaped more like a loaf of french bread. I agree with your assessment of the cinnamon bagels and toast – ok, but I like using the plain bread and putting a mix of cinnamon and powdered Swerve on top.
Hi Amy,
On the loaf being smaller for the Sourdough Bread, I found this about it:
“Summer Blend **** May-October we have a summer blend which we have to add more natural preservative called Enzyme to our products so that they don’t spoil in the summer heat. What the preservative does is inhibits the growth of yeast which makes the texture more dense and slightly smaller. It does not affect the flavor or the weight. Its necessary for us to do it this way otherwise we couldn’t ship the bread. If its a little dry for your tastes, we recommend putting a damp paper towel over a few slices of bread or bagel and microwaving for 1-15 seconds and then you can put in a toaster and will be perfect.”
Thanks, Lynn! I guess I’d better get an order together now!
I love the low carb bread and the cinnamon bagels. Don’t toast the cinnamon bagels and they are wonderful. Thanks for all you recommend, it helps keep me on track, most of the time lol.
lol @ “most of the time” Julie π
I get it, I do! haha
Well I promptly ordered the everything bagels and bread just because your grilled cheese and bagel sandwich looked so good! Thank you. Care to share your grilled cheese recipe?
Also very much appreciated your candid and brave post re spanx. Thank you for saving me the money of buying a cheap useless knock off.
For the grilled cheese, I used lots of butter on each slice of bread, plenty of colby jack cheese (off the block), and grilled it hot and fast on each side. π
I’m glad you didn’t buy the cheap knockoff shapewear. lol. That WAS a total waste of money! π
I too love the low carb everything bagels. Didn’t care for the plain bagels. The sour dough bread is really good also the texture is more bread like compared with the other breads. mmmm grilled cheese so so good!!
This is the best LC bread I’ve ever had
Has anyone tried the hamburger buns. Really miss having a bun with my burger.
Hi Sheryl,
I have! I have a picture of the low carb hamburger buns in this post: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/5927/low-carb-grilled-cheese/ I liked it just fine, but I’m so used to eating my burgers without buns that I haven’t reordered them.
Cinnamon bagels were terrible! Zero cinnamon taste and I felt like I was cutting into cardboard. Sandwich breads and pizza crust are amazing though!!
I didn’t like the cinnamon bagels either, Jami π lol – I mentioned that in the p.s. in this post and here: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/5544/low-carb-bagel-update/ I love the Everything bread and the Everything bagels though!!
Did you toast the cinnamon bagels? I found that helped. That plus peanut butter and a lot of water to drink lol. I did eat mine. π
