Sorry – Quick Update…


 

Apologies for being a bit absent lately, with the daily food diaries and such. I’ve been drowning myself in keto research & testing, and also super busy with work over the last week.

The testing has been fun though!

Today for example I had an MCT Chocolate Milk, a Collagen Coffee, and I tested five different keto bars this week. Three were AWFUL (blech!) and two were pretty darn good!

Once I get through with this testing & review phase, I’ll share all the nitty gritty details with you, including what NOT to try or buy – and what to get instead. πŸ˜‰

I’m in the process of writing you a very detailed and super interesting piece on MCT Oil, what it is and how it works, some of the TRICKERY you want to be wary of, and ways to get all the benefits of MCT’s if you don’t drink coffee (tip: it’s not MCT softgels – and I’ll tell you why in my post about it!).

Stay tuned for that. I think you’ll find MY results VERY interesting! I’m dropping weight for starters, but that’s just ONE of the FAST results I experienced since I started using & researching MCT.

      I am researching several different options, and comparing the value and quality (the purity, and the MCT profiles of each). But right now I am using Premium C8/C10 MCT Oil in portable packs by FBOMB – the same company that makes the nut butter packets & keto krunch snacks I love so much. πŸ˜‰

    How are you making your coffee now I use the sugar free French vanilla can you give any suggestions on including mct oil that taste good and how early do you drink it I’m up at 5:30

      I make my coffee with the sugar free hazelnut powdered creamer by Coffee-Mate, it’s less carbs than the liquid and more creamy – so it takes less, and less carbs than the other flavors.

      I get up early too, and have it in my first morning coffee. πŸ™‚ I am testing different MCT options (oils/powders) but none of them have any taste – unless you get a flavored one (I don’t like any of those).

    I have been using unflavored collagen in my coffee everyday now for the past two months I also use the powdered MCT I hate oily coffee I am like you I am very picky about my coffee I can’t taste the collagen or MCT powder so I am very happy

    About protein bars / low carb or keto I have not found even one that I can say that I like if not hate Blek I rather eat anything else BUT the bars Yuk yuk yuk

      Hi Gina πŸ™‚ The powdered collagen & MCT are both great options, and I do love that they don’t have any flavor. I am testing several right now, and interestingly I didn’t get the same instant results from the powdered MCT, even with the same or better MCT profile as the liquid. So I’m doing some more testing. πŸ˜‰ Stay tuned!
