That seems to be the thing people struggle with most: getting enough fat in your diet. I find it super easy! Of course I eat a serving or two of pecans almost daily, which are VERY low carb / high fat.
Mondayโs Low Carb Meals
For breakfast I had a great combination of healthy foods! ๐
I mentioned in my last food diary that I was intrigued with the โPowerBlend Coconut Gojiโ I got in my Keto Krate box โ and tried it on my โcereal.โ
I had that again for breakfast on Monday. Itโs 1/2 cup pecans, 1/4 cup Daisy Cottage Cheese , 4 small strawberries + 2 tbsp Coconut Gogi: a serious โsuper foodโ โ very rich in Omega 3 (a natural brain booster!) plus high fiber & protein. I stirred it all together and ate it like cereal. ๐ This bowl is 7 net carbs and 83% healthy fatsโฆ
For lunch I had 3 eggs scrambled in butter. I was out of โreal cheeseโ so I used a slice of โfake cheeseโ in these. ๐ Iโm so spoiled on real cheese!
For dinner I had a *serious* low carb burger from Hardeeโs. ๐ Itโs the Frisco Burger in a lettuce wrap. Theyโll make anything on the menu low carb for you โ just ask!
I got hungry again that night because I pulled a LONG day on Monday, so I browsed around in the kitchen a bit and found a sugar free Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel Bar I totally forgot I had!
I got the candy bar in my February Keto Krate, so I had a serving of that with 30 grams of pecans โ the Sea Salt Roasted Front Porch Pecans I got in my March Keto Krate:
That was SO good together. I love sweet & salty combos! ๐
And I love Keto Krate for keeping me in fun foods to try!!

Tuesdayโs Low Carb Meals
That candy bar was SO good that I had it for breakfast yesterday. ๐ 5 squares is a serving, and only 2 net carbs. I had it with 1/2 cup (60 grams) of pecans, which was delicious. The chocolate is so smooth and creamyโฆ totally addictive!!!

I was out running errands later, so for lunch I had โ3 sausage patties and 3 fried round eggs pleaseโ from McDonaldโs. I so love their All Day Breakfast menu now!
I went out for dinner last night and ordered: Blackened Salmon with sautรฉed spinach & steamed broccoli. What a fabulous meal! I could only eat half of it, so I had the other half for lunch today.
I got Alfredo Sauce on the side to dip it all in. Because I love to dip. ๐ And because Alfredo Sauce is high fat. AND because that salmon was REALLY spicy and I needed something to offset the heat, lol.

Itโs after 8pm here in Tennessee as I write this, and Iโm going to HAVE to make some dinner. ๐ I despise cooking, lol. I may just make eggs again! Althoughโฆ Iโm seriously considering low carb blueberry pancakes. ๐
Obviously I didnโt cook AT ALL yesterday, and only made eggs the day before. Thatโs one thing I really LOVE about eating low carb. You donโt *have* to cook.:)

I canโt believe you still had your salted caramel milk chocolate bar. Wasnโt it great?? I am addicted to the Front Porch Pecans!! They were out of stock on Amazon, but I got a notification yesterday that they were back in stock. I ordered immediately!! I also purchased some Halo Top ice cream for the first time. The salted caramel with a few crushed Front Porch Pecans on top was heaven!! Thanks again for all the great advice you give and for the Facebook group that has changed my life. Love this WOE!! Just celebrated my 3 year anniversary eating low carb. Went from 192 lbs to 139 lbs and maintaining. Would like to maybe lose 10 more, and like you, focus more on toning. Have a great day!!

Let me tell you, I eat practically the same things you do now. I even had a Hardeeโs Frisco Burger (wrapped in lettuce) today for lunch. Iโm in Ketosis, but havenโt lost any weight, so I am hoping after following in your footsteps, I can lose this week. I love the way I am eating and that I can have a vodka and club soda every so often. The cottage cheese, nuts and berries is the best and I even have people at work liking it, as well. Wish me luck as I need the tables to turn very soonโฆ.spring will be here, eventually.

Oh, yesโฆI am measuring and tracking everything! I think I need to cut calories along with staying under 20 carbs. Some days I am over 2,000 cals, other days Iโm right at 1,400. But my fats are usually at 70% and protein is at 20%.
Iโm very small, 4โฒ 11โณ and 135 lbs. since I havenโt lost any weight, Iโm thinking the amount of food I eat right now is whatโs needed for maintenance, trimming a few calories here and there will kick me into weight loss. Fingers crossed!
How long have you been tracking and doing 20 net carbs max and 70% fat minimum? And on your frame, how much weight do you need to lose?
I have been tracking for over a month, but for about 3 weeks now I have been really watching the 70% fat and everyday Iโve been at or above that. Also Iโm always at or under the 20 gms of carbs, ditto for the 20% of protein. Iโd like to be around 120-122 lbs, so I need to lose 16 lbs. I just joined Weight Watchers online, that will help me to control the calories as wellโฆ6 weeks with no loss is very frustrating when I know I am doing the right things.
The first things to cut (as a test) are: nuts, cream cheese, cheese, bars/shakes and any other processed foods or meats.
