2 Low Carb Foods That Raised Questions in the September Keto Krate

The September Keto Krate: A Box Full of Low Carb Food Fun!

These coffee shots have amazing reviews, but the only place to get it is on their website. It’s not on Amazon or Netrition. It’s $24 for a box of 20, but you can use discount code ketokrate2 to get 10% off (until Sept 30th).

Biltong Seasoned Dried Beef, Braaitime Gourmet Cured Meat ($12.99)
A 4oz package (4 one ounce servings) came in the Keto Krate. You can get different sizes both on their website and on Amazon, but it’s actually cheaper on Amazon.

Scout Jalapeno Salsa Raw Pumpkin Seeds ($3.99)
These are Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Kosher and packed with protein & potassium. They come in 3 flavors: Jalapeno Salsa, Black Pepper BBQ, Pacific Sea Salt – and there’s a 15% off coupon on Amazon.

Miracle Rice by Miracle Noodle, 8oz ($3.49)
This one has raised the most questions so far.:) Everyone wants to know how I’m going to use it! LOL, stay tuned – I’ll figured that out. 🙂
It has zero net carbs, zero calories (what IS it?!), and it’s only $2.79 on Netrition. You can get a 6-pack on Amazon for $15.32.

Sweetwood Cattle Co. Fatty Stick, BBQ ($3.50)
This “fatty stick” is HUGE! There was some talk around the web about it being 7 carbs, as Keto Krate only includes foods that are 5 net carbs or less usually. However, I can’t see eating the whole stick in one sitting lol.
You can get a box of 15 on Amazon for 2.99 each (44.85).

Nature’s Hollow Sugar Free Maple Syrup, 10oz ($5.19)
I’m a HUGE fan of Nature’s Hollow products! I haven’t tried this one yet though.:) It’s $11.16 on Amazon (outrageous!) but it has good reviews.
You can get it on Netrition cheaper. 😉

Like I said… the first thing I’m going to eat is the Cello Whisps!!:)

Price Breakdown & Comparison

You can get some of the items on Netrition where I indicated above, and they have a low flat-rate shipping of $5.95 no matter how much you order, but other items you’d have to order on Amazon or on their website.

The coffee shots only come in a box of 20 and shipping is 7.95, so even if you use the coupon code that comes to $29.55. They aren’t available on Amazon or Netrition. The Scout pumpkin seeds only come in packs of 6, so even with the 15% off coupon at Amazon that comes to $20.36. The Fatty Sticks are only sold by the case too.

So if you got free shipping on Amazon plus the low flat rate shipping on Netrition, it would cost you $124.01 to purchase these products online…

That makes the Keto Krate a GREAT value at only $34.95! You can cancel anytime, or even order individual past Keto Boxes on their website too. They also include coupons & discount codes in every box, increasing the value even more.

It’s AWESOME to sample individual products at such a great price!

The two things that raised the most discussion out of this box were the Miracle Rice and the Fatty Stick. The latter because it’s 7 carbs like I said above, and Keto Krate has a policy of only sending foods 5 grams of carbs per serving or less. But it’s a HUGE stick. The package says it IS one serving, I recommend making it two.:)

As for the Miracle Rice, I’m going to have to get creative with that one 🙂 lol. I’ll do some research and figure out a great way to use it.
