Back in July I tried Vanilla CarbSmart, which is Breyers Low Carb Ice Cream. It makes for a nice treat, especially with fresh sliced strawberries. 😉
Last week while browsing through the grocery store, I happened upon these CarbSmart Almond Bars and decided to give them a try.
I have to say, one bite and they became my favorite!
They’re not as sweet as the plain “carbsmart vanilla” Breyers low carb ice cream, and the crunchy chocolate coating with nuts makes them absolutely delicious. At 5 net carbs each, they’re definitely a special treat… but they are REALLY good.
This is probably the closest thing to “real ice cream” I’ve eaten on the low carb diet. 😉
Highly recommended! Look for CarbSmart Breyers Low Carb Ice Cream at your local grocery store… and enjoy!

Thanks for the tip! I have been enjoying Breyer’s carb smart ice cream for a while, but had no idea that they made ice cream bars with chocolate. This looks great!

I had no idea either until I ran across them at the grocery store. These are THE BEST. If you find them at your store and decide to try them, I’d love to hear what you think. π

Dont understand how its only 5 carbs the box doesnt say 5 carbs anywhere. Carbs -sugar alcohol- fiber=net carbs. Dont add up. It would help if the box was labeled 5 carbs but it doesnt.

Hi Clay,
It DOES say it right on the front of the box. π

14 grams if fiber minus 4 grams of fiber 5 minus sugar alcohol gives you 5 grams of carbs
