OK, that was fast. I just ordered the English Toffee stevia and the silicon brownie mold JUST last night!! Now I have more things to consider…… Have just been at this for about 3 weeks and have lost 10 pounds. A whole new way of life but I am not hungry and with your help am finding my way through the food maze.
Congrats on losing 10 pounds so quick, Susan! That’s awesome. π I love my silicon mold – especially for making the fudge: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/6247/low-carb-peanut-butter-fudge/ YUM!
Surely, low carb/low fat is wrong?! I noticed the book – wonder how many people have bought it…?
Quick question – the spiraliser you use is really expensive here. I think I may have asked on your spiraliser post about an alternative – would it be possible for you to have a quick look please Terry? Thanks.
I thought that was odd about the Famous Dishes Made LOW-CARB book too. I’ll have to check that one out for myself. π
The Paderno Spiral Vegetable Slicer is less than $30, and it’s the top rated spiral slicer on Amazon – and has been for a few years now. It outlasts the cheaper slicers you can find. We’ve had a few discussions on that in the group.
For some reason, on Amazon UK, it’s much more expensive!
Sush Rose Goodridge just google βVegetti or similar handheld vegetable spiralizerβ and youβll get images of several. I have the βvegettiβ and it works great (Walmart $14.99. Recently Aldiβs had their version for $3.99 on super deal!). It has a different size blade on each of the ends (one for narrow spaghetti width size, and a wider cutting blade on the other). Works like a hand held pencil sharpener. It makes fast work of zucchini, carrots and daikon radish. Just insert the veggie and twist. Mind you it only does the straight spaghetti type strands, no fancy stuff. For me the size was a huge factor: about 5β tall and about 2.5β at the widest point, fits in the utensil drawer. By the time it would take me just to set up the larger counter top spiralizer, Iβm done and the spiralizer is on the dish drainer drying BECAUSE the blades are super duper extremely sharp. Youβll get the idea with the following links. I don’t work for any of these people, I just love the style and small footprint and it suits me just fine.
Hereβs some on Amazon for a great price, but donβt know if it has more than 1 blade: http://www.amazon.com/Newest-Improved-Spiralizer%C2%AE-Spiral-Complete/dp/B00NEAO4S2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1460218958&sr=8-3&keywords=spiralizer
This one definitely has 2 blades (and great price)

Thanks Lynn. Love your sight and all you’re doing for us!
Thank you Maria! I’ll have a look for a ‘Vegetti’ on Amazon UK and see what comes up!
