For quick and easy low carb dinners I often pick up Tyson dinner meats which are already pre-cooked. One of my favorites is the Tyson Beef Pot Roast in Gravy.
It’s only 2g carbs per serving, and it’s tender AND tasty! Everyone in the house loves it (even the carb eaters -lol).
I made this last night for dinner. It’s literally only 5 minutes in the microwave and done.
While it was cooking, I sauteed some mushrooms with butter & soy sauce, then cut up a cucumber and stirred in a tablespoon of mayonnaise… It made for a super quick and fabulous dinner:
Tyson has many other varieties of low carb dinner meats. Check with your local grocery store to see which products they carry. You’ll find them in the meat section, between the processed meats and the meat cuts, with other refrigerated convenience foods:
Tyson is also committed to hunger relief, and you can find them on twitter @TysonFoods.

Their BBQ Pork looks good. Definitely higher in carbs and sugar content, I’m assuming the BBQ sauce is the reason.

Yup – that’s the culprit. Here’s the low carb pork bbq that I like: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/312/quick-easy-low-carb-dinner/ I found it at Wal-Mart. VERY tasty! π

Very cool. You always find great low carb products or you come up with some cool tips I always look for your post. My favorite one is the ice coffee one you put up a while ago. It helps my diet Big Time.

Here’s that post: http://www.travelinglowcarb.com/545/starbucks/ I’m having a cup of it brewed hot this morning actually! I have been on a serious Iced Coffee kick lately with all this summer heat though. Love it! And if you use heavy whipping cream & sugar free flavored syrups… no carb worries! π
The Tyson dinners are delicious for a 5-minute microwave meal. I love anything that cuts down my time in the kitchen. LOL. Of course, I’ll throw a beef roast in the slow cooker sometimes too, if I think ahead. Those are always great too – and take less than 5 minutes to prepare!
