I’ve mentioned the Sugar Free Mountain Berry Preserves several times. It’s been one of my FAVORITE low carb products over the last 4 years. 🙂
It’s fabulously delicious!!
I made a (oh-so-mouth-happiness) low carb peanut butter & jelly sandwich with it the other night, on low carb bread, of course. It pairs really nicely with cream cheese, Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Wedges, peanut butter – and it’s truly amazing with brie!
I order it online at Netrition, where you can get 4.99 flat rate shipping no matter how much you order – which is a SWEET deal! You can see what other readers are ordering here: GREAT Low Carb Products at Netrition if you’re looking for some new ideas to try.
The Nature’s Hollow Sugar Free Preserves come in a variety of flavors. Mountain Berry is MY personal favorite, but it also comes in: Apricot, Blueberry, Peach, Strawberry and Raspberry.
Speaking of blueberry, today is Blueberry Cheesecake Day! 🙂
I have all the ingredients on hand to make a low carb cheesecake on a pecan/almond crust… which sounds like a fun “project” for today. Or, knowing me, a “a frankenstein kitchen science experiement” lol.
Sometimes I’ll take a Mama Lupe’s Low Carb Tortilla, toast it lightly in butter, then spread it with cream cheese and sugar free preserves. YUM!
It also goes great on the low carb bagels – or on the sliced low carb bread if you want a good old-fashioned peanut butter & jelly sandwich. 🙂
*Note: When I order the bagels & breads, I don’t pay extra for thermal packaging or faster shipping, and mine arrive just fine!

This sounds yummy, but xylitol and all the rest of the sugar alcohols cause me digestive trouble. I hear and read that this is true for many other people.

This one doesn’t affect me in any way, but then – you only use a dab. It’s VERY flavorful! Some of the others do bother me, mostly Russel Stovers sugar free chocolates – and sugar free York Peppermint Patties – but only if I eat more than one.
