Got goals? Need motivation? Join us for a fun, flexible challenge with social accountability as we close out the year together working on our goals!
Let’s try something a little different for this shorter year-end low carb challenge. 🙂 It doesn’t have to be all about weight loss, or even about a specific weight loss goal or number at all!
Maybe you’d like to learn how to eat low carb, how to do keto (the easy way!), or learn the difference between the two if you’re just getting started. You could challenge yourself to eat 20 net carbs max per day for the next 5 days, just to see how it goes!
Maybe you want to start exercising, or exercise more consistently, or challenge yourself to do 10 tricep dips a day to start, or start with a daily walk perhaps.
Maybe you want to change your morning routine, try intermittent fasting, switch to black coffee, cut out nighttime snacking, learn how to track your macros – or get back in the habit of meal tracking for more mindful eating. Maybe you want to try the 3IMAX method to break a stall…
It doesn’t have to be for the entire month of December, or from now till the end of the year. You could challenge yourself to do 3IMAX for the next 5 days, or challenge yourself to track your macros for 5 days, or challenge yourself to stay at or below 20 net carbs for the next 10 days – and regain control over “carb creep”. You pick!
YOU know best what matters MOST to you right now in your health & weight loss journey. 🙂
Simply state your goal, and join us! 💕

If you’re not already familiar with style, I’m NOT the keto police 🧐 or one of those elitist keto extremists. 👀 You can get a feel for my way of doing things and my stance in this post:
Candid Chat on Weight Loss, Health & Happiness
“What you WON’T hear me talking about is what YOU should or shouldn’t do, or how you should live YOUR life. I am all about balance, bio-individuality, personal choice, and helping each person (myself included!) become the happiest healthiest version of yourself – in every way, in YOUR way.” –source
My 25yo daughter started eating low carb for health & weight loss this year, and I will treat you with the same compassion and enthusiasm and support as I treat her. 💕 Sometimes she has off days. Sometimes the scales don’t move, or move in the wrong direction. She doesn’t track her meals or macros and that works just fine for her – while I track mine consistently, which works great for me!
We are all at our own place in our health & weight loss journey.
For this challenge, I would love for us all to support & encourage each other in our individual goals. So many in our group have been eating keto or low carb for years, and have lots of ideas & insight to share with people just getting started.
Some people maintain nutritional ketosis for health reasons 🙋♀️ in addition to weight loss. Some people are in maintenance mode, and some are just learning about macros.
What I most want, and personally need to, is a safe space and a friendly community where we can all get feedback and feel included, share ideas, hold ourselves and each other accountable to our goals, find motivation and support – and all make positive healthy changes in our lives, together! 💖
🌟 Note: It’s ideal to note your starting weight somewhere – whether you want to add that to your goal comment, log it in your favorite app, or just write it somewhere private only for you. You might be surprised how well your body responds, even if your goal isn’t specifically weight related!
If you’re IN simply leave a comment here and state your goals!
Start with something short, small and easy if you like. 😉
You can comment here on my blog, or if you’re in our private facebook group, come comment on this private group post.
You may not feel motivated. That’s okay! That’s the point of a challenge: to challenge yourself to do something in the right direction. Start with a small commitment, and just see how it feels! More often than not, you’ll find your motivation… on the other side of that commitment & action. 😉
Let’s make December a fun “happy & healthy!” month… together. 💯❣️
I would love to hear any questions you have, anything you need help with to get started, and of course – the goal you’re committing to this week, to start.
If you need help deciding what to challenge yourself on, let’s chat! Or if you’re feeling unsure you can commit, or unsure if you really even want to, drop a comment and we can discuss that too.
Here for & with you… xo

I want to get back on low-carb because of my liver enzymes and my weight gain. I was doing great until covid hit and I had some major health problems and I’m still dealing with depression
Carolyn Leners says
I am a stress eater and eating keto helped me feel so good. My goal is to be mindful of what I put in my mouth. I cleaned out the cupboards today. I had more crap food in there than I realized!!!! My daughter and I are planning a Keto Christmas menu this year. By being mindful now, Iβll be able to jump in keto hard on December 20th! We are celebrating early this year.
Lynn Terry says
Hi Carolyn π How was your keto Christmas? I hope you and your daughter had a lovely holiday! I was also a stress / emotional eater, and “going keto” really helped me finally overcome that – and learn better mindful eating habits. Which ultimately lead to better mindful LIVING. π Hope things are going well for you these last couple of months. I would love to hear your goals for February. xo
Lynn Terry says
Hi Margaret. Apologies it took me so long to respond, I’ve had major health problems as well. Did you have covid also, or you mean just the pandemic in general? I’d love to hear more about what you’re dealing with – and whether you got back to eating low carb, and how that’s going for you?
I had a mild case back in Nov 2020 as you probably recall, which caused my nervous system to malfunction. The last 14 months have been a horrific roller coaster of life altering health issues – I’m still working through.:( Wishing you all the best, and look forward to catching up! xo

My sister told me about you years ago. I thought I could go in alone and didnβt need help if I just read. So here I am about 50 pounds heavier than when I first heard of you and getting nowhere fast. When my sister told me about you she said that sometimes you meet people and will speak with them and I wouldnβt mind paying a fee. I know the town that you live in and am within a short drive of it. Would you consider coaching me? Iβm sorry to hear about your Covid experience and hope that you are past that now. Let me know! You can contact me on my email address because I donβt wanna put my phone number out there on here. I have tried ideal protein and lost 35 pounds and then I tried a sort of made up version of keto and lost 30 pounds and then I lost all my mojo and gained it all back.

Iβm wanting to get back to low carbs because Iβm having such inflammation in my joints and need to loose about 10 lbs
Lorrie says
Need to loose ten but really need to treat depression and sugar binging
Maia says
I am aiming to lose 4-5lbs by Jan 1st
That would be ideal – I have a number Iβm aiming to hit
Timing isnβt ideal with the holidays and family get togethers but Iβd like to try anyway- nothing to lose but weight! π
Also, if everyone here is on Instagram could we maybe form a group chat on IG for this challenge??

I want to be more consistent with exercise. Iβve been doing low carb snd IF since Sept. and exercising a few times a week. I want to be more intentional.
Melissa Stapleton says
I have gotten so off track and need a reset and a miracle. My goal is to stay below 20 net carbs for next 5 days and then shoot for 5 more days!
Cheryl says
I want to get back to walking 6 days/week. The change in the weather has already taken its toll on me! The other thing I wish to achieve is to get control over my ‘carb creep’.
