We’ve had a couple new businesses open up in my small middle-of-nowhere town recently, and one of them is a new Curves Fitness Center. I’ve never tried Curves, but I’ve heard GREAT things about it.
I was planning to do my Zumba DVD Set at home this week, but unfortunately my TV went out over the weekend. I think it’s just the lamp (again) but it’s going to take me a few days to get the part in and get it back up & running.
In the most perfect timing, I ran across this Curves Fitness Center Special Promotions offer online, and signed up to print off a coupon for a free week at Curves. They even had my middle-of-nowhere town listed! (Go figure, lol)
It was really simple, just a quick form that took a minute or so, and bam – I had a coupon printed out and an appointment scheduled. I’m going in tomorrow (Monday) at 4pm to check it out. 😀
I’ve heard their doing Zumba classes at some Curves locations now.
How cool is that!
That will be one of my first questions when I go in tomorrow, of course. It would be nice to try a live Zumba class for a change! I’m really looking forward to it. I’d been looking for some local things to get into, and this may just be right up my alley. 😉
Curves Fitness Center is of course just for women. Most facilities don’t allow men in at all, as it’s marketed specifically to women – and those who want to work out in a women-only facility.
Sorry guys! But there are *some* Curves that allow men, so if you’re interested just check with your local Curves.
Would you consider joining me? The coupon is good for a free week, so it’s a great opportunity to try it out and see if you like it! It would be really cool if a group of us tried it out together. 😀
If you’re going to join us, comment below and let us know!
Or if you’ve been to a Curves Fitness Center before, I would love to hear your experience. I know they’re all different, or they used to be – are they still independent franchises??
