It was every bit as fabulous as it looks! 😀
Longhorn Steakhouse is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants for a late low carb lunch with friends. The service has been fabulous at every restaurant I’ve been to, which spans across several states in the southeast (so far).
The meal I ordered (above) is my personal favorite. Two meats and two sides – plus a salad – makes for a serious indulgence! The menu item is called “Flo’s Filet® & LongHorn Salmon” and you’ll find it under the “Legendary Steaks” section of the menu. The filet is tender and juicy, and cooked perfect every time. The salmon is flaky and tasty – beautiful! Their seasonal vegetables are great too, so I usually order double veggies instead of veggies & rice. Today I ordered the veggies and steamed asparagus though. Delicious!!
What’s your favorite low carb lunch (or meal) at Longhorn Steakhouse??

Thanks for the suggestion, Lynn. We are meeting family at Longhorn for lunch and this takes the frustration out of ordering from a waiter who is unfamiliar with low-carb eating.
I just wish you would add the amount of carbs in this meal…
BTW, in our house KISS means Keep It Short and Simple, and since I’ve been following your posts for quite a while, I know you want to include the “short” part! (I don’t like to cook either.)

LOL true, and I’ve been in the kitchen lately more than I would like! π π I’m glad you found this post helpful.
I look up the nutrition facts online for the size and mount – how many ounces of meat, etc (anything that isn’t already right there on the menu) and log it in MyFitnessPal according to how much of it I ate.
