I’ve been reviewing several Keto Subscription Boxes that deliver low carb foods to your door every month. The Keto Box offered to send me a few boxes to check out & sponsored this review which was a great opportunity to let you know what to expect from them.
I’ve had a chance to receive & review 5 different packages from The Keto Box now. This January box is NOT available anymore, but I’ll show you what’s in it because this is a GREAT way to discover new low carb foods you may want to try.
I’ll also show you how to get a Free Purple Hand Mixer in the February box if you decide to give The Keto Box a try. 😉
Go to TheKetoBox.com and use Promo Code: KETO15 to get a Free Purple Hand Mixer in your February box if you sign up today. 🙂
If you already get The Keto Box, the free purple hand mixer did not go out in the January boxes. It’s going out in the February boxes. They sent one in mine so I could show it to you.
Note: There are less than 200 February Boxes left. Also, while I’ve been working with the Keto Krate company for well over a year now, I am not affiliated with The Keto Box in any way outside of this sponsored review.
Using the Promo Code KETO15 gets you a free hand mixer in your first box, and also lets the company know who referred you, but no money is changing hands on orders. I’m required by the FTC to let you know things like that.;)
The January box is sold out so if you sign up now you’ll get the next box in about two weeks. And you’ll get a Free Purple Hand Mixer in your February box if you use the promo code above.
I don’t know what will be included in the February box, but you can see what was in my first two boxes here and also see what was in the August box and the September box at those links for examples. And of course the January box on this page.
Here’s a list of everything in THIS box below, but again this January box is no longer available – so I’ll show you the best places to get each of the products if you’re interested in trying any of them.
What I Found Inside The Keto Box (January Shipment)
8 Interesting New Low Carb Foods To Try…
This was a very full box, with quite the variety of low carb products in it. Three of which I’m already familiar with and LOVE and one I cannot wait to try! We’ll start with that one, since it intrigued me the most…
Picnik Grass-Fed Butter Coffee, Cappuccino
You can find this at Whole Foods if you have one near you.
The Picnik Butter Coffee is like a “BPC on the go” or a BPC-style low carb shake. It comes in 3 flavors: Cappuccino, Mocha Latte and Dirty Chai. You can get a sampler pack of all 3 flavors on their website but it’s MUCH cheaper on Amazon.
It doesn’t look like they are available anymore so here’s a superfood creamer you might enjoy…
Rawxies Smoked Paprika Crunch
Rawxies Gluten Free Smoked Paprika Crunch
These are only 1 net carb per serving, crunchy & delicious!
They come in three flavors, but you can’t order them individually. You can order a pack of 4 on their website for $16.50 ($4.13 each) + $5 shipping. Or you can get them on Amazon in a pack of 6 for only $3.99 each with FREE shipping.
I’ve had these before and fell in LOVE with them!
They’re a very healthy, and addictively delicious low carb snack.
🙂
Snickerdoodle Keto Kookie
I’ve been through ALL of the Keto Kookie flavors, and the brand new Peanut Butter Keto Kookie is my absolute favorite so far!
We have a coupon code for those too. 🙂
Go to Keto Kookie and use code LOWCARBTRAVELER for a discount.
The Snickerdoodle Keto Kookie is good too, and only 2 net carbs for the pack of two low carb cookies. I have just ONE pack left of the new Peanut Butter flavor, so I’m going to do a side-by-side comparison with Snickerdoodle today.;)
KETO-and-CO Low Carb Oatmeal, Hot Cereal
I’ve been meaning to try this for awhile now, as I have a few different flavors/versions of this low carb oatmeal. It’s the same price on their website as it is on Amazon – although you can get free shipping on Amazon.
Have you tried this yet? Everyone is always asking me about low carb oatmeal. Keto and CO makes this in three flavors and can get it sweetened with Stevia, Sucralose (yuck!) or plain/unsweetened. I would rather sweeten it myself…
There’s also a Chomps Grassfed Beef Stick in the box this month, and “SeaSnax” organic roasted seaweed:
I’m not a huge fan of beef sticks but I’ll eat this one with some almonds & cheese probably. As for the seaweed, I’ve tried it before (another brand) and didn’t like it – but it would be best with maybe some smoked salmon or seared tuna. 😉
AlternaSweets Low Carb Ketchup
AlternaSweets ketchup is low carb (only 1 net carb per TBSP), gluten free, paleo, vegan, non-gmo, low calorie, has no preservatives and no artificial sweeteners – it’s sweetened with stevia. You can find it on Amazon. They also make BBQ sauce.
I haven’t wanted or needed ketchup since I went low carb, but this would make a great meatloaf topper (I normally use chunky salsa myself). Or I could use it to make my BBQ Spinach Burgers – with this Low Carb Ketchup instead, which sounds good!:)
Coconut SmartCakes Gluten Free, Low Carb Cupcakes
I love these… so much. 🙂 ♥
And the Coconut SmartCakes are my favorite!!
They come in three flavors, and you can read my review at that link:
These little cakes are ZERO net carbs. Seriously!! 🙂
I’m especially interested to try that Picnik Butter Coffee. 🙂
I was excited to get some of my favorites in this box too: the Rawxies Crunch, Coconut SmartCakes and Keto Kookies.
Again, this ^ box is no longer available but if you decide to sign up for The Keto Box and use the special promo code (KETO15), you’ll get the Free Purple Hand Mixer in your first box – which will ship in two weeks, the first week of February.
I’m hesitant to try the low carb oatmeal, only because the last two brands I’ve tried have been AWFUL. 😛 But I have this one (above) and a pack that is unsweetened too, which I think will be my preference.
I’ll keep you posted on those, and the texture & taste.;)
They’re now taking orders for the February box. I’m not sure what will be in it, but the products I shared with you above (and my links to the previous boxes) should give you an idea of what to expect.
They don’t specifically say they are gluten free, or “malitol free” like Keto Krate does, or have any specifics on their site other than the products included in each box are “keto friendly.” So that’s all I really know, outside of the examples I’ve seen so far.
The products included in my last five boxes have been GREAT. Very interesting, new FUN things to try – which is what I love so much about these low carb boxes & delivery services. It’s such a great way to discover new low carb foods I never would have found otherwise!
Learn more at TheKetoBox.com
Promo Code: KETO15 will get you the free purple hand mixer in your February box.
It is only available for delivery in the United States, although they WILL ship to Canada but the cost is just too high to justify.
The price is about the same between Keto Krate and The Keto Box, btw.
Have you tried a Low Carb / Keto Delivery service yet?
If so, I would love to hear your thoughts. I’ve really enjoyed working with Keto Krate over the last 18 months, and trying so many great new low carb products, and it’s been fun to try The Keto Box too!
Even if you don’t subscribe to keto deliveries, or don’t have an interest in that (or you’re outside the U.S.!) I would love to hear your thoughts on the 8 low carb foods I shared with you from this January box…
Have you tried any of them, or which products piqued YOUR interest?
I’ll let you know about that Butter Coffee! Stay tuned… 🙂
Best,
Lynn Terry,

I am not a big fan of these keto boxes or keto krate boxes. I do not want to take a chance on products i might not like…but i DO appreciate your reviews on the contents so i can know which products are worth buying like the smart cakes….those sound yummy and 0 net carbs? Wooooo hooooo. Perfect!
Some of those priducts really are not appealing to me- like seaweed. Ack….:(
I totally CANNOT use MALTITOL. It gives me serious intestinal distress and at one point almost sent me to the ER
These companies need to let us know like Keto Krate that they do or do not include certain sweeteners in their products.
I hope that more companies will stop using Maltitol. And all of those other sugar alcohols. These sweeteners are horrible for me.
Thanks for your reviews. I really appreciate it.

You’re welcome, I always enjoy your thoughts & feedback on things, Gina – so thank you! π
I haven’t found anything in five boxes from The Keto Box yet that had malitol or that weren’t gluten free – I just wanted to mention it doesn’t specifically state either as a policy on their website (just in case).
I agree that these boxes are a GREAT way to find new low carb foods to try – whether you’re getting them each month, or just following along here and scanning the list for new products to check out. Which is why I love reviewing these for you! π
Gina says
Thank you for all you do Lyn! Your reviews and honesty mean a lot to me.
The smart cakes are on my list to buy. The great low carb bread co. Bagels are amazing and everything i got from Netrition that you reccomended were great!
Lynn Terry says
I love the smart cakes, especially the coconut. π I can’t wait to try the new Tangerine flavor because it’s getting RAVE reviews across the web.
They are especially nice paired with your favorite low carb foods like almond butter, cream cheese, etc. I like to make a meal out of them like that.:)
Gina says
Mmm.. Tangerine. That sounds wonderful!
