Yesterday I talked about dealing with discouragement when your scales are moving the wrong way.
I mentioned that my scales usually go up right before they go down, which is exactly what happened. I woke up at 147 this morning, 1.4 pounds lighter. 🙂
It pays to power through…
Thursday was an EASY food day because I ate the same thing all day long, lol.
It really does help to have low carb meals or foods made up. That way you can just “grab & eat.” I wish I did more meal prep. I go through spells of wanting to cook a little, but they’re rare. 😛 I have a few more things on hand to cook up today or tomorrow which will be nice, since I’m in for the weekend…
Here is my Low Carb Food Diary for Day 46 of the “Get Lean For Summer!” 90 Day Low Carb Challenge. It’s not too late to join us if you haven’t already!
Day 46: Thursday’s Low Carb Meals
For breakfast I heated up two Low Carb Sausage Biscuits and topped those with three fried eggs. Unfortunately I overcooked my eggs. I was going for over medium “dippy eggs” over my biscuits. Oh well. 😛
I couldn’t finish all of that in one sitting, so I saved the other half and ate it a few hours later. Those biscuits are really filling!
I had three more biscuits left, so I finished those for dinner – with sugar free preserves on them. Delicious! 🙂
I couldn’t eat all three of those biscuits at once either, so I did the same thing as earlier – finished them a few hours later. So I basically made two meals into four…
Here’s My MyFitnessPal Diary for Thursday:
Tracking Macronutrients (Simple Explanation of Macros)
How To Get Net Carbs in MyFitnessPal
Calories: 1669

Total Carbs: 23

73% Fat, 23% Protein

FitBit Steps: 2,349

I did NOT feel like working out yesterday. I had a full schedule and was consulting most of the day, which totally wiped me out. It’s supposed to rain and storm here in Tennessee most of the day today, so I’ll probably do an indoor workout.
The Focus T-25 is my favorite because it’s a serious workout in only 25 minutes.
What about you, how is your week going?
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi,
You look great!
My total is 9lbs. I’m excited, still 20 or so to go, but going I am.
Love eggs, turkey sausage & your breakfast is my lunch, and then usually meat & something green for supper.
I like this WOE.
Rain excepted in VA also.
Take care
Thank you, Sherry! Way go to on your 9 pounds lost so far. π Awesome! Enjoy your day. π I have all the doors open enjoying the breeze & rainy day… *cheers*
Those biscuits look so good with the eggs on top. Hell they look good regardless. Lol. I’m making some tonight. So after lunch time I felt like pure crap. All 3 of my kids have been sick all week and I guess now it’s mommy’s turn lol. So needless to say I did not each much yesterday. My meals were:
B: bpc, 3 scrambled eggs w/ 1oz colby jack cheese
L: just water
S: 14 almonds, 1 mozzarella string cheese
D: Campbell chicken broth
I had a total net carbs of 6, fat was 85 and I drank 80oz of water. I still feel pretty yucky today but my appetite is definitely coming back lol.
They were delicious. π I think next time I’ll add salsa to the mix!
I hate you’re not feeling well. I have a headache and leg cramps myself, and just blah in general – which I’m guessing is the keto flu dragging out.:P How did you like the chicken broth??
Mmmmm I think salsa would be a great addition.
I just knew I was going to get sick, especially with all 3 kids sick. But I drank about a 1/22 cup of chicken broth diluted with water and laid down and I woke up feeling a whole lot better.βΊ
